Scouring the world for precious metals, exotic and rare woods, glazes, lucite, ceramic, crystal and so on, Origina Lighting is exactly what its name states. What’s new in the Origina collection in 2011 are three different accent table lamps. The first being a hand crafted ceramic vase in a pearl-essence glaze. The second being a 1940's Lavender Martelet vase. And the third new table lamp is a French Chinoiserie 1960's white coral style table lamp. Known mainly for their extensive table lamps, Origina offers a couple chandeliers, pendants and sconces. One of the chandeliers comes with alabaster shades, another is a pineapple chandelier originally designed for a hotel with palm frond arms and a pineapple in the center carved from wood, and the last being a Neo Classical Six Branch Steel and Brass. The key to the whole business is in the table lamp selection which numbers 115 varieties from ceramic to metal finishes and so on. All their styles are influenced by European designs of decades past adding a certain elegance to a room whenever placed there.
