Desk Lamps

Thinking a desk lamp as "just a desk lamp" would be to sell desk lamps short. When choosing a desk lamp, many factors come into play: amount of light, space available on the desk, and décor. If a room has ample light, filled with windows and skylights, a desk lamp will be more for decorative purposes than practical use. If not enough light, choose a durable lamp overflowing with illumination. If the desk is cluttered with files and hardly space to fit a lamp, something with a thin neck that does not bring attention to itself will do perfectly. However, if the desk is large, made of oak perhaps, something along the lines of a banker’s lamp with its green glass shade will tie the room together. Whatever the challenges in lighting a desk, there is a desk lamp perfect for such an obstacle.
