This piece took inspiration from a wedding vase made by the acclaimed Santa Clara Pueblo Indian potter, Christina Naranjo. The original is in the collection of the Museum of New Mexico in Santa Fe. The warmly-hued shade is adorned with an intricate scrollwork overlay, while the shapely organic base shines on its own.
