Sonneman Lighting

Robert Sonneman, the founder of Sonneman – A Way of Light, got his start working for George Kovacs, until starting his own business in 1967. Throughout the years he has moved from his own lighting company to one that did all sorts of different features to being the President and CEO of Ralph Lauren Home Product Development. In 2003, he started Sonneman – A Way of Light. From the beginning, Sonneman has believed in creating art. So much so, his designs have been featured in the New York’s Museum of Modern Art, Chicago Art Institute, Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, UCLA Exhibition on Design, Karnette County Art Museum and the Houston Contemporary Arts Museum.
